Luke's Dedication

"Train up a child in the way he should go, 

And when he is old he will not depart from it."

- Proverbs 22:6

We had Luke's Baby Dedication on October 1st at our church. We pledged before the church to teach Luke about God and the Gospel. The congregation answered back and pledged to help us do that as well. Both of our families were there and it was very special. We took pictures after the service and Luke was NOT interested in it, but they are great anyway. :)

Youth Cook-out

We had a End-of-the-Summer Youth Cookout on Sunday night. We played volleyball, kickball, and cornhole and ate lots of good food. It was one of the last activities with our Senior Austin, who we will miss so much. We had a fun night and are thankful to everyone who helped make it happen. We love our church and our youth.

Centrifuge 2016

We took the youth group to Centrifuge June 20-25th. When I was in youth we went to Centrifuge camps every summer. Josh and I actually met the last summer I went as a freshman in college in 2009. So it was fun to go together with the youth this year.

The theme was Unashamed and we had great bible studies, speakers, music, free time together, and night life activities. It was fun to be there as an adult and watch the youth learn and respond to what they were being taught while also studying myself.
