2015: Year in Review

JANUARY: We celebrated the New Year with dinner with friends and sparking grape juice at our apartment. We kept our apartment decorated way too long and played with Josh's kendama (a Christmas gift) for hours. I turned 25 on the day of Hannah and Paul's wedding, got lots of Kitty snuggles, and went up to Roanoke and had dinner at Fiji Island for Josh's grandparent's anniversary. We also found out at the end of this month that Josh's family was most likely going to be moving to Atlanta over the summer.

FEBRUARY: We drove up to Charlottesville with Matt on Valentine's Day to eat Canes and hang out downtown. We came back to Lynchburg and had dinner at Osaka with the rest of Josh's family and drove home in the snow. We enjoyed lots of snow days this month and Josh turned 26 on the 27th.

MARCH: Sweet Ellie turned 5 on March 1st! I did 30 days of yoga the end of February through most of March and it really helped my anxiety. My sister-in-law Chloe turned 13!! I took way too many pictures of the spring blooms and we went up to Roanoke to celebrate Josh's Grams' 80th birthday!

APRIL: We found a cute little park near our apartment where we could go on walks and all of the leaves came back and there was green everywhere. Josh and I found the cutest little town, Gibsonville, very close to our apartment and we started having fun date nights there regularly.

MAY:  We went to Roanoke for a small Bryant Family Reunion and then Matt came to visit when he was done with his school year. I got to have coffee with Katie and Meredith one day and we spent some fun nights in Gibsonville!

JUNE: We celebrated our 3rd anniversary with a beach trip and got to spend some time with Jake and Lauren when they happened to be there too! We went to the North Carolina Zoo and to visit Josh's family in Roanoke. I also got a journaling bible (and it's still my favorite thing to do).

JULY: We went to Roanoke to stay in the house Josh grew up in one last time. We had to say good-bye to our crazy Kitty but then got our sweet baby Gizzy. We had Marvel Movie Marathons with the Brieaddys and I got to go up to Lynchburg with Katie to see Meredith for the weekend. At the end of the month, Josh's family moved to Atlanta.

AUGUST: My best friend moved to Wisconsin for 8 months. :( Gizzy had her surgery and I had the triplets for 2 weeks. We went to visit Matt after he moved in to his apartment in Lynchburg and then we moved to Kernersville!

SEPTEMBER: We went to the beach with my family for Labor Day Weekend and then we found out that Josh got a job at Wake Forest!! We went up to see Roanoke family for the first time since Josh's family moved to Georgia.

OCTOBER: I started having lunches with Josh at Wake Forest. Josh's family came to visit, and we went to Roanoke and took family pictures. We went to the mountains with my parents one Saturday  and then went to Homecoming at Liberty the next Saturday. On Halloween we went up to Roanoke for Grandaddy's birthday and a party at Jeff and Courtney's!

NOVEMBER: My mom, Josh, and I went to see Ben Carson with Matt at Liberty!, we put up our tree early for Giz, we had wonderful Thanksgivings with Josh's family in Roanoke and my family too!

DECEMBER: We went to the Lighting of the Quad at Wake Forest with my parents and I did lots of Christmas crafts with my preschoolers at school. Ellie came to hang out with me and Giz while her mom was out of town. I also bible-journaled a lot and we had wonderful Christmases with my family and Josh's family (our first trip to Atlanta).

This year has been a great one! A year of blessings and answered prayers. I'll remember 2015 as the year we moved back to Kernersville, got Gizzy, and Josh started his awesome new job at Wake Forest. I'll also remember it as the year Josh's family moved away to Georgia. I cannot believe that we are starting 2016... I pray that it is filled with more new exciting things for our little family....

We will see. :)
Happy New Year Everyone!

XOXO
