Labor Day Weekend 2018

Our 6th annual Labor Day Weekend Beach Trip was so much fun! Last year Luke was 5 months old and did not really care to be out at the ocean. This year he absolutely loved it. These first pictures are right after the 3 of us got there. We put him down and he ran straight for the water.

It was not very surprising that he also loved the pool! :) He liked to sit on the edge and fall into it. So much fun!

We met up with some of our youth who were there at the same time. We went to our favorite BBQ place on the island to get corn nuggets.

We always have to dinner in Southport because we love "The Frying Pan." We took some pictures and ate lots of sweet potato biscuits.

Last full day we went out to the beach in the afternoon and took some pictures and let Luke run back and forth to play in the water and the sand.

Of course ice cream at the beach is a must and Luke agrees.

Going to the beach with a baby is hard but this year was so fun to see him love it so much. Can't wait to see him run, talk, and play next year.

May in Photos

The theme of May was: Park days!
Luke also used his tricycle for the first time!

We threw Katie and Hannah a baby shower!

We went to Virginia for Lucas' 1st birthday party and while we were there Luke started walking!!! Then we drove to Liberty and went up in the new tower!

Mother's Day - Josh's family stopped by on the way to Georgia and we had dinner with my family. Happy day :)

I took Luke to Barnes and Noble to play after he started walking!! :) All he did was throw the trains in the floor.... *eye roll emoji*

We spent every spare moment at the park. One day we went to walk around the park and Wake Forest. It was the perfect weather and so much fun.

Our Day Trip to Roanoke

The day after Christmas we drove up to Roanoke to see Josh's Grams and Granddaddy. Grams cooked everyone lunch and we visited for a while and then we went to The Hotel Roanoke to see their tree display that they have every December. Josh and I have gone almost every year since before we were married and it was so fun to have Luke with us. He loves Christmas trees.

After the Hotel we went back to Grams and Granddaddy's house. Luke loved Grams' bear that says The Night Before Christmas. At the end of the day we met up with some family friends and went to Three Li'l Pigs BBQ for dinner. Josh and I stopped at our favorite coffee place and then headed home.

This brought an end to our Christmas activities and traveling. What a great first Christmas we've had with Luke. :)
