Liberty Homecoming 2017

Josh, Luke, my parents, Matt, and I all went to Homecoming at Liberty this year (October 14th)! It was our 5th year in a row and Luke's 1st! :) So much keeps changing and it is so cool to see!
We ate Kyoto for lunch, got Joe Beans, checked in and looked around campus, and then went to the football game - which we lost... but that's okay because we got more Joe Beans for the ride home. We got Luke a Liberty hat and a super cute children's book about Liberty and the mascot, Sparky.
Here are some pictures from the day:

One of the most exciting parts about the trip was that Matt came up from Atlanta and stayed in Virginia after we left to start his new job at Liberty on Monday! We are so happy that he is closer now!!!

Can't believe last year I had just started the second trimester with Luke! We didn't know he was a boy yet and it was so hard to imagine being here this year with a 6 month old baby! But here we are! So thankful to God for protecting Luke and our family. :)

Can't wait to take Luke to the "Kids Zone" next year!

XOXO

Liberty Homecoming 2016

Josh and I and my parents went to Homecoming at Liberty, for the 4th year in a row, on October 22nd. So much has changed since just last year! There are so many new buildings and it was so cool to see how it succeeding and growing.
We got Joe Beans, looked around campus, had some boxed lunches (that were so good!), and then went to the football game - which we won! After then game we went to Osaka and then back for more Joe Beans for the ride home. We also bought some Liberty baby clothes which was so fun! :) Here are some pictures from the day:

So fun! I can't believe that next year we will have a 6 month old in October!?!?? Maybe we will be crazy and go for a 5th year in a row with a baby!

FEBRUARY

I have fallen out of the habit of blogging what we've been doing lately... hopefully this month I'll get back on track.

February went by so quickly. On February 2nd, we went to see my Grandma on her 80th birthday!

We went to a Super Bowl party with friends and families from our church. We got to hang out with some of the youth and watch the Panthers lose. :( But it was still exciting to see them in the big game again. The last time they went to the Super Bowl I was 14 years old.

My mom, Josh, and I took a concealed carry class from a man in our church on February 13th. We all passed and had a fun day! Josh and I went out with my parents for Mexican food afterward.

Josh got me roses for Valentines Day and we got a surprise snow day on that Monday the 15th. :) We played with Gizzy and started watching The Flash.

On Friday, the 19th, we took Josie and Gracie up to tour Liberty. We met up with Matt for convo and lunch at Osaka. We had a fun trip.

We celebrated Josh's 27th birthday a couple days early with my family.

On Josh's actual birthday we took the youth to WinterJam at the coliseum. It was a super fun day and the concert was amazing. I really love this youth group we get to work with.

February went by so quickly! Can't believe March is almost half way over and then we will be a quarter of the way through 2016! Crazy!

Liberty Homecoming 2015

We went up to Liberty on October 24th for Homecoming! My parents, Josh, and I drove up and met Matt who hung out with us for the day. We walked all around campus to see all of the changes and construction they have done. We went up to the monogram and ate at our favorite Osaka. Then we came back to school to check out the carnival and go to the football game, which we won!! :) It was a super fun day! I love being at Liberty.

Thanksgiving 2014

I love the holiday season so much! Thanksgiving and Christmas make me so so happy. I hope December drags by because it's my favorite month of the year! :)

We had a nice Thanksgiving weekend celebrating with lots of family. We left Wednesday after Josh got off work to go to Roanoke to spend Thanksgiving Day with his family. First we had lunch with his mom's side at his Uncle and Aunt's house. One of Josh's cousin's little boys turned 4 that day so we also celebrated him.

After lunch we left Roanoke to head to Lynchburg for dinner with Josh's dad's side of the family. On the way we stopped by Liberty to take some pictures!

Then we went to dinner where I didn't take many pictures...

After dinner we had to drive back to Roanoke... where I had left my purse.... then we headed home. On Black Friday we slept in and then went to see what deals were left. We bought a few things at Old Navy (since the whole store was 50% off!) and looked at a few other stores but didn't end up buying anything else. We relaxed the rest of the day and then met my family for dinner with my dad's side of the family.

On Saturday, Josh and I spent the day with my parents. We ate at Josh's favorite restaurant for lunch, decorated their Christmas tree, and made a big dinner. It was a fun day.

Although Josh and I have had our apartment decorated for a little while... Christmas is now officially in full swing. I LOVE it. Happy late Thanksgiving to everyone! And an early Merry Christmas. ;)
