Virginia is for Lovers

Josh and I took a trip up to Roanoke this week. We stayed at his parents house while the whole family was gone on vacation to California. We got to go to all of the places we like to go that they don't. ;)

On Monday, Josh was very excited to get to go shoot guns at his uncle's house.

On Tuesday, we drove to Lynchburg to get Joe Beans coffee and then went up to Charlottesville! We ate at Josh's absolute favorite place in the world, Raising Cane's. There are no Cane's restaurants in NC, so we hadn't been in a long time. He was very happy.

We drove downtown to walk around and go to some shops. This was the view from the parking garage!

We've come here a few times and I love it. We got Doctor Who salt and pepper shakers at a store called Quilts Unlimited. It's our favorite store and we always end up buying something there.

After walking around for a while we drove back to Lynchburg, went by Liberty, and then went to see Meredith, Hannah, Benny and Lola (who is pictured below)! She is the cutest puppy! :)

After hanging out with the girls for a while we left to get some Osaka for dinner, our favorite place to eat in Lynchburg! But then we had some car issues. When we went to Walmart to get some supplies we found Osaka's new 2nd location in the same parking lot! :) The next day we came back home. It was a short trip, but we had a great time. Being in Lynchburg made me VERY excited to go up to Liberty in October for Homecoming. I cannot wait!
